Call to Worship Psalm 95.1-3
O come, let us sing for joy to the Lord.
Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving,
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
For the Lord is a great God and a great King above all gods,

Song 1: Up From the Grave He Arose
Low in the grave He lay Jesus my Savior!
Waiting the coming day Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave He arose
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes
He arose a Victor from the dark domain
And He lives forever with His saints to reign
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Vainly they watch His bed Jesus, my Savior!
Vainly they seal the dead Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave He arose
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes
He arose a Victor from the dark domain
And He lives forever with His saints to reign
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Death cannot keep his prey Jesus, my Savior!
He tore the bars away Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave He arose
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes
He arose a Victor from the dark domain
And He lives forever with His saints to reign
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Scripture Readings:1 Corinthians 15:1-8

1 Now I would remind you, brothers,[a] of the gospel I preached to you,
which you received, in which you stand,

2 and by which you are being saved,
if you hold fast to the word I preached to you--
unless you believed in vain.

3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received:
that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,

4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures,

5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time,
most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.

7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.

Sing: He Lives

1. I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today.
I know that He is living, whatever men may say.
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer.
And just the time I need Him He’s always near.

Refrain: He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me, along life’s narrow way.
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know
He lives?
He lives within my heart!

2. In all the world around me, I see His loving care.
And though my heart grows weary, I never will despair.
I know that He is leading, through all the stormy blast.
The day of His appearing will come at last.

(Refrain)  He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me, along life’s narrow way.
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives?
He lives within my heart!

3.Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian!
Lift up your voice and sing:
Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ, the King!
The Hope of all who seek Him, the Help of all who find.
None other is so loving, so good and kind.
(Refrain)He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me, along life’s narrow way.
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know
He lives?
He lives within my heart!

The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;
He descended into
hell. The third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy (universal) Church;
the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the  body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Sing: Living Hope

Verse 1 How great the chasm that lay between us
How high the mountain I could not climb
In desperation I turned to heaven
And spoke Your name into the night
Then through the darkness
Your loving-kindness Tore through the shadows of my soul
The work is finished the end is written Jesus Christ my living hope

Verse 2 Who could imagine so great a mercy
What heart could fathom such boundless grace
The God of ages stepped down from glory
To wear my sin and bear my shame
The cross has spoken
I am forgiven The King of kings calls me His own
Beautiful Savior I’m Yours forever
Jesus Christ my living hope

Chorus Hallelujah praise the One who set me free
Hallelujah death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There’s salvation in Your name Jesus Christ my living hope

Verse 3 Then came the morning that sealed the promise
Your buried body began to breathe
Out of the silence the Roaring Lion
Declared the grave has no claim on me

(REPEAT V3)
Jesus Yours is the victory

(Chorus)Hallelujah praise the One who set me free
Hallelujah death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There’s salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ my living hope

Ending Jesus Christ my living hope
Oh God You are my living hope

Benediction Jude 24-2524 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling
and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,

25 to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ
our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority,
before all time
 and now and forever. Amen.
